Voting Rights is one of the Huddle’s main concerns. Here’s something we can do.
New Hampshire Republicans are trying to push through a bill that will make it harder for Granite Staters to vote. HB 1264 would effectively impose a post-election poll-tax and discourage New Hampshire students and other eligible voters from exercising their right to vote.
You can make a big difference and help stop this bill by attending a hearing in Concord. Will you join us as we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with voting rights organizations in the Granite State to stop HB 1264?
Where: 33 N. State St., Concord, NH 03301
What: HB 1264 Senate Public Hearing
When: April 10, 2018
The hearing on Tuesday, April 10th is one of the last times we can make our voices heard before HB 1264 could ultimately end up on Governor Sununu’s desk. Let’s make sure he knows that Granite Staters overwhelmingly want this bill vetoed.
